Lieberman Software CEO to Speak on Privileged Identity Management and Regulatory Compliance at HP Protect 2011
(WASHINGTON, D.C. – Sept. 13, 2011) Lieberman Software Corporation today announced that CEO Philip Lieberman will be a featured presenter at the seventh annual HP Protect 2011 security and compliance conference this week in Washington, D.C. Lieberman will present "Achieving Continuous Compliance of Privileged Identities in Challenging Environments" on September 14 from 9:00am – 9:50am ET. The presentation will cover real-world application scenarios that illustrate how optimal technology and processes can deliver organizational security and ensure positive audit results.
For the first time, the Protect 2011 conference will include HP companies ArcSight, TippingPoint and Fortify. HP Protect 2011 bills itself as the single largest summit of security and compliance professionals, experts, architects and gurus under one roof.
Lieberman Software is an HP ArcSight Technology Alliance Partner and a Diamond Sponsor of HP Protect 2011. The company will spotlight its industry leading privileged identity management (PIM) and security management solutions in Booth #1 at the conference.
"Even after reading the headlines and details of the horrendous security breaches of the past few years, companies are still telling us that they generally don’t know where all of their privileged accounts reside and whether only the right people have access," said Philip Lieberman, president and CEO of Lieberman Software. "The good news is that HP Protect 2011 attendees will learn firsthand about the latest developments in security intelligence and risk management in order to address these concerns head-on."
Lieberman Software's Enterprise Random Password Manager (ERPM) is the first PIM solution that automates the tasks to discover, secure and audit the thousands of privileged credentials used by IT administrators, computer services and software applications to access sensitive information and computing resources throughout the enterprise. By doing so, ERPM helps ensure that unauthorized users and malicious programs cannot gain access to sensitive or proprietary data. ERPM also makes it easier for organizations to comply with government and industry regulatory compliance regulations - such as PCI-DSS, HIPAA and CAG - that require documented controls for the release, use and changing of privileged account passwords.
