PRESS RELEASE

Lieberman Software CEO Philip Lieberman to Present at Cyber Security Conference

Security Industry Veteran to Discuss How Organizations Can Comprehensively Manage Critical Privileged Accounts and Achieve Security Best Practices

(LOS ANGELES, CA – March 9, 2009) Lieberman Software today announced that President and CEO Philip Lieberman  will be a presenter at the 2009 Cyber Security Conference in Washington, D.C.  Sponsored by the Technology Training Corporation, the conference brings together senior level military, government and industry experts to focus on emerging cyber security issues, opportunities and risks.

Looking back on 2008, security vulnerability trends shifted from external attacks to internal breaches resulting from stolen account information and information leakage. As a result of recent data breaches such as last year’s Société Générale incident that led to billions of dollars in losses, the security of privileged administrator and root passwords is becoming a particular area of concern. Lieberman’s session, “Cracking How to Control Access to Privileged Accounts/Credentials Using Fire Call Account Management Systems,” will take place on March 12 from 3:30 – 4:00 p.m.

”Privileged user accounts are found in virtually every application, database and infrastructure device throughout the enterprise and have been aptly characterized as the most powerful accounts within an IT enterprise environment, posing the greatest security and compliance risks,” said Philip Lieberman, president and CEO of Lieberman Software. “This presentation will explore the significant risks for organizations that don’t have a privileged password management technology in place, as well as solutions that are available to control and manage passwords and credentials for properly using Fire Call accounts.”

The Cyber Security Conference takes place March 12-13, 2009 at the Alexandra-Historic District Holiday Inn & Suites in Alexandria, VA. For more information visit: http://ttcus.com/view-conference.cfm?id=95
