Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) and System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) Integration

System CenterAs a member of the Microsoft System Center Alliance, Lieberman Software provides deep integration between Enterprise Random Password Manager (ERPM) / Random Password Manager (RPM) and Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) / System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), making comprehensive privileged identity management a simple snap-in for your existing enterprise management console.

Now authorized users can retrieve privileged account passwords from within the familiar SCOM / SCCM interface, accessing administrator and root passwords for any managed system in seconds while saving valuable time in performing routine maintenance and emergency system repairs. Password check-out is always fully documented and audited – as is check-in and re-randomization after the access is complete.

The integration also allows SCOM / SCCM to monitor and report the health and availability of ERPM and RPM, alerting to performance issues and delivering SLA reporting for the organization's privileged account management infrastructure. This helps assure that the privileged identity management systems are both available and responsive to users.

With this integration, ERPM will also manage all RUNAS accounts in SCOM via native integration (using SCOM SDK). Automatic credential management and password synchronization for management packs is also supported. The integration automates the changing of privileged account passwords, supporting the GRC requirement to change passwords regularly in SCOM and other applications while eliminating the need to manually type in updated credentials with each change.

Privileged Password Check-Out Through the Familiar SCOM Interface

Regulatory Compliance
System Center agents can now be automatically and frequently updated with new credentials, bringing your enterprise into compliance with security regulations. By proactively monitoring and managing all privileged accounts (and their components) in your network from one centralized systems list, you receive real-time alerts about issues affecting performance - allowing you to take necessary action to continue meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Helpdesk Integration
ERPM and RPM can share trouble ticket data for SCOM and SCCM to link with third-party helpdesk frameworks, enabling trouble ticketing systems to automatically open and close tickets and perform other actions whenever users request and check-out privileged passwords, check in passwords, change and verify passwords, and perform other management tasks. This allows these frameworks to take immediate action should they encounter operational misuse or infrastructure readiness issues.

Managing the Microsoft Environment
In addition to System Center integration, our privileged account management solutions use a Microsoft SQL Server architecture and are
Microsoft certified for Windows Vista, Windows 7, Server 2008, Server 2008 R2, and Hyper-V. You can be assured of rapid deployment and scalability, and optimal performance, in your Microsoft-based enterprise.

System Center Management Packs and GUI Snap-Ins from Lieberman Software are all free and fully supported with the purchase of ERPM or RPM.
