Create an Ad-hoc or One-time Scheduled Windows Task

Quite often, systems administrators need to run a script or executable across a range of hosts to address a systems maintenance issue. This can include flushing the DNS resolver cache, adding a new registry key or updating the configuration files of an application.

When this task needs to be run across many Windows machines, it can either require many hours spent accessing each machine, or time spent creating and deploying scripts.

Task Scheduler Pro makes this process simple. Create a Scheduled Task in Task Scheduler Pro, deploy it to all the machines where you want this task to execute and set it to run immediately.

You can also define whether the Scheduled Task gets deleted or retained at the end of the run. Retaining the task on the system might be a good choice in case the fix needs to be run again, either through Task Scheduler Pro or locally on the machine.
