Lieberman Software Names Jess Richter to Newly Created Vice President of Strategic Alliances Position
Top Sales Executive to Guide Company’s Expansion into Cloud and Managed Service Provider Market
(LOS ANGELES, CA – May 29, 2013) Lieberman Software Corporation today announced that Jess Richter has been appointed the company’s first Vice President of Strategic Alliances. Previously Richter served as Lieberman Software’s Director of Sales, dating back to 2008.
In his new position, Richter is charged with developing strategic partnerships with large Internet Service Providers, Managed Services Providers, and Cloud Services Providers of both services and infrastructure. His promotion was announced to coincide with a major new capability of Lieberman Software’s privileged identity management (PIM) product line. The recently released update of Enterprise Random Password Manager™ (ERPM), the company’s flagship PIM product, is designed as the industry’s first Security-as-a-Service platform for managing privileged credentials, certificates, passwords, pin codes, passcodes and other sensitive data generated on a massive scale by large multi-tenant organizations.
“We’re seeing a pattern among our cloud service provider and critical national infrastructure customers where they require a new generation of security solutions that can operate at tremendous scale, and in compliance with federal government mandates,” Richter said. “To meet this demand, ERPM has evolved into a service platform where the discovery, auditing and access control of credentials and certificates are managed entirely by machines, instead of through direct human interaction. This is a groundbreaking development in the way that privileged identities and other secrets are managed and secured in the largest enterprises, and I’m excited by this opportunity to help the company extend its market leadership.”
ERPM, Lieberman Software’s long-standing and award-winning privileged identity management product, has already enjoyed the distinction of industry firsts. It was the only product capable of automatically finding all of the privileged accounts that exist in large, dispersed enterprises, and then securing and tracking each of these powerful accounts. By doing so, ERPM helps organizations in all major vertical markets prevent unauthorized users and malicious programs from gaining unrestricted and anonymous access to systems with highly sensitive data. In its new evolution, ERPM can scale these capabilities to the world’s largest enterprises and service providers.
“Jess is the perfect fit for our company's strategic direction,” said Philip Lieberman, President and CEO of Lieberman Software. “He has demonstrated great technical knowledge and in-depth familiarity with the market. We are excited to put Jess’ expertise into practice as he helps large cloud provider and systems integrator customers lower their costs, improve regulatory compliance, and mitigate fast-changing security threats.”
