Lieberman Software, Microsoft, and Lumension Present Securing Your Infrastructure: Privileged Identity Management & Data Protection

PRESS RELEASE

Lieberman Software, Microsoft®, and Lumension® Present "Securing Your Infrastructure: Privileged Identity Management & Data Protection"

Luncheon Seminars Scheduled for Irvine, CA and San Diego, CA

(LOS ANGELES – September 9, 2009) Lieberman Software Corporation, in conjunction with Microsoft and Lumension, will present "Securing Your Infrastructure: Privileged Identity Management & Data Protection" in Irvine, CA on October 8, 2009 and San Diego, CA on October 9, 2009. The seminars will provide insights for IT professionals and executives looking to improve data security, deliver efficient access control, and lower the cost of regulatory compliance in their Microsoft infrastructure.

During these luncheon seminars Windows security experts will show how Microsoft System Center, when combined with security management solutions from Lieberman Software and Lumension, can enable an organization to:

  • Improve security by assuring that only authorized individuals can access sensitive data whenever there are new hardware and application deployments or changes in staff job roles
  • Protect corporate assets by strengthening the security of so-called "super-user" credentials present on every server, workstation, database, application and network appliance.
  • Raise IT staff efficiency by extending the Microsoft management infrastructure to automate data protection and privileged account management workloads;
  • Reduce the cost to comply with major regulatory compliance mandates including Sarbanes-Oxley, PCI DSS, HIPAA and more.

Lieberman Software developed Enterprise Random Password Manager™, the first privileged identity management solution to fully integrate with Microsoft System Center. This integration allows IT staff to monitor and control all of their organization's privileged account credentials in the familiar System Center interface, reduce the threat of data breaches caused by insecure credentials and the risks of failed compliance audits.

“IT professionals who manage large, multi-platform enterprises are challenged by a constant threat of new security vulnerabilities that can expose important data, cause system instability and extended downtime, and violate compliance mandates,” said Jane Grafton, director of business development at Lieberman Software. “These professionals need to remain current on the most advanced solutions and methods for securing the powerful privileged accounts that control access to IT resources. Our joint seminar with Lumension and Microsoft provides this information.”

The Irvine seminar will occur on October 8 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM PST. Registration is available here. The San Diego seminar is scheduled for October 9 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM PST, and registration can be found here.
