Enterprise Random Password Manager™ Receives Certificate of Networthiness from US Army
Lieberman Software’s Privileged Identity Management Product Meets Strict Army IT Infrastructure Security Standards
(Los Angeles, CA – June 12, 2013) Lieberman Software Corporation announced that its flagship privileged identity management product, Enterprise Random Password Manager (ERPM), has been granted a Certificate of Networthiness (CoN) from the United States Army. The CoN is a requirement for all enterprise software products that operate in the US Army Enterprise Infrastructure network.
The Certificate of Networthiness requires compliance with rigorous standards established by the US Army and involves in-depth testing against validated guidelines. It verifies that ERPM has met the Army’s requirements for security, reliability, integration and sustainability.
For US Army forces operating throughout the world, it is essential to maintain secure and reliable access to highly confidential data, and prevent data breaches that could threaten national security. ERPM helps with this critical endeavor by ensuring that only authorized and audited personnel can access systems with sensitive data, with an approved purpose, for a limited time.
ERPM operates by automatically locating and tracking privileged accounts wherever they exist on the cross-platform network, generating unique and complex credentials for each account, and deploying the password changes wherever they are used in the data center.
"The Army Certificate of Networthiness is a recognized and respected benchmark for enterprise security validation," said Philip Lieberman, President and CEO of Lieberman Software. "ERPM’s receipt of the Army CoN is crucial to Department of Defense (DoD) and other federal government clients, as well as large corporate enterprises and cloud providers that require the industry’s most secure and reliable products.”
