The credentials used to access systems in many McAfee ePO software installations often remain unchanged, despite the security best practice and regulatory compliance mandate requiring access to sensitive data through these accounts being allowed only on a "need to know" basis.
ERPM and RPM safeguard access to sensitive data by removing anonymous access to McAfee ePO software. The Lieberman Software products provide a model in which sensitive logins are controlled and passwords automatically revoked immediately after work performed by delegated IT personnel has been completed.
This integration allows E/RPM to:
- Discover all accounts in ePO, including previously unknown accounts;
- Automatically randomize any or all ePO passwords;
- Provide secure, delegated and audited access to ePO credentials, and;
- Automatically randomize ePO credentials after they have been disclosed and used.
